Forums - Nintendo - Ubisoft Reconfirms Watch Dogs For Fall 2014 Release On Wii U

Lol, no. No I won't.

Given the success it's only natural. I wonder how it would have contributed to the reported 4 mil in sales had it released with the other iterations.

Good to hear, I'll probably pick it up for Wii U sometime later this year.

I will have to pick up two copies then.

Let me change that. When it's on sale for $20 on the eshop in a year, I'll maybe think about it.

From the look of the pre-orders, it could still push out a 100,000 plus first Week. But there has to be a solid release date. With word of mouth, maybe even a lot more! I hope. This is pretty much Ubisofts last game for Wii U unless it sells well I think. 400,000 or more copies I feel.

It would have been interesting to see, but what I really wonder is if it would have cut into mk8's sales at all.

I will get it one day, but definitely not paying full price for it.
I am interested in playing it but not THAT interested.

That's positive news for Wii U owners, but can the game possibly be a big seller when it's coming so long after all the other editions? Also, it will be largely based on the PS3 and 360 versions of the game, which are clearly scaled-back when compared to the next-gen iterations.

I think there are no words from Ubisoft on which version the Wii U version is based. And it seems the Wii U version had been in development before PS360 versions.

Good for Wii U only owners, but it's too late by then. Even if it comes with all DLC and the such like.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I'll pick it up if it's a decent port.
If it's another hackjob like AC3/AC4/Splinter Cell, forget it.

Good news for the 3/4 WiiU owners that still care!
