Atari 2600 created the industry and then killed it, NES revived it, and the PS1 brought it where we are today. Pretend any of these 3 never existed, and video games are either non-existant or DRASTICALLY different.

Also, kudos to Sega for including online on the Dreamcast and for MS for making Xbox Live so robust. Online gaming on consoles is the last revolution we had, as motion gaming had no lasting effect.
