Question: Who the hell SAID they wouldn't buy one at that price? You know that the price is the biggest deterrent, right? I got mine as a present, but if I didn't I likely would have bought it for $249.

CrazzyMan said: Well, let`s think, that by the end of 2008 there will be pricecut and 40GB version will cost 299$, more over, that version will have also full software BC, which will allow to play most ps2 games(since sony is working on that). 1) So, why you wouldn`t buy ps3 at 299$? 2) Why you wouldn`t buy ps3 at 199$ in next 5 years? |
Eh, the last time I checked, there's no way to know if the PS3 will be $299 by the end of 2008, even though it is very likely. We also don't know that the cheapest version will have BC of any kind, and I don't think Sony has been working on that, at least not very hard.
And I won't buy one because I already have a console and it's more than enough for me.
1) I'm a PC gamer
2) So far the games on there no where near interest me
3) I've gone of gamepads mostly, and hate the Sony controllers
4) I don't want or need a Blu Ray player
Cuz a ps2 will $99, or less, by then.....and worth much more to me than a ps3.
because it has no games that interest me=)))))

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
Too few games that interest me at this moment, and I already have a 360 for multiplatform games, so its all about their exclusives.
I dont want MGS(I still would like to beat 2 and 3), FF or GT. The only game I am interested in is Warhawk, and possibly LBP.
I would definitly have one now if I didnt have a 360 and I will get one down the line.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Because I already bought one? It answers the original question.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

I wouldn't cause I already have one that I bought for $750.
