Probably MadWorld. Many NES games were violent, but looked so unreal that it cannot really count compared to todays realism.

Manhunter 2...Was that a Wii game? I never played it though.

Manhunt 2 is a Wii game yeah, I actually have it, but didn't get very far. It's creepy and disturbing as hell :P Definitely one of the most violent games I've played on a Nintendo console, but it was HEAVILY censored (on all platforms), so many kill-scenes has random effects laid over so you can't really see everything.

Yep.

Mario Bros.

Through the black art of infinite video game resurrection Mario continuously sends Bowser down to his flesh melting lava filled death. To this day I can still hear Bowser's screams in my dreams.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

Played all the games on the poll but chose RE4. I love that game.

Madworld, No More Heroes and several Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat games.

MadWorld
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
Pikmin 3, lol. It's so brutal when you forgot some Pikmin in the evening.

Not just brutal, but sad. Everytime I hear several Pikmin cries, I reset. :(

I'm resetting more than advancing to the next day, lol. They're so innocent and cute, I feel bad when they die.

I challenged myself to play through Pikmin 3 without a single dead Pikmin. It's also fun to improve your efficiency when you repeat a day.

From the games I played most recently it's Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, but then there's Pikmin...

MadWorld
I regretted it though.... glad it was cheap.

Also played No More Heroes 1&2 and The Godfather: Blackhand Edition, which all have violence for the sake of violence. (Also these three were enjoyable, though NMH2 felt a little stale compared to the first)

Resident Evil games are violent, but it's justified for the most part so even though they have more gore than the above (especially as I played the PAL version of NMH) I see them as less violent.

Super Mario games are the most violent...because the super mario bros. manual says the people of mushroom kingdom were turned into blocks so destroying one is murder

Tsubasa Ozora

Keiner kann ihn bremsen, keiner macht ihm was vor. Immer der richtige Schuss, immer zur richtigen Zeit. Superfussball, Fairer Fussball. Er ist unser Torschützenkönig und Held.

Killer 7. You know a game is for kids when a character's special move is to slit their own wrist.

Manhunt 2 looks pretty gruesome, but I haven't played it.

Pikmin is probably the worst if you look past the visuals. A heartless general convincing a local tribe to fight for his cause, with no regard for casualties.

I have to say Madworld was the most violent game I played. It was pure shock action, but definitely the most violent. As far as disturbing goes, I'd probably give a nod to Manhunt 2.
