How do you know ? maybe the government is putting something in the water and that makes them suicidal..

Video games can definitely cause something like this, but it would only be the tipping point. These kids probably had much deeper problems to begin with, and since that probably was the case they shouldnt have been allowed to play a violent game that could potentially trigger something to begin with

The media won't stop on their mission to make every violent video look bad. These boys also drank water. Shouldn't this guy be investigating this too?

Water does not cause one to kill themselves. If there is no other explaination, then what should people think? What you put in your body affects you. Whether in your mind or your stomach. Water makes you live, depressing violence makes some kill themselves. Doctors are smart.

Water does not cause one to kill themselves but a water drinking contest can!

Yup. Call of Duty is definitely the reason those teenagers committed suicide!

If that was the only game I played for years and years then I would probably think about killing myself.

its more a fact the government actually did that in the 70s n 80s some sort of experiment but everything was denied. people had weird dreams and spoke all the time while asleep.

How many suicides of teenagers did we have overall in that timespan and how many played CoD short before? How many teenagers do we have overall and how many play CoD per day?

I don't doubt that people who play games like that die more often because of suicide since many depressed teenagers or people without friends simply play a lot of video games because they don't have much else to do with other people but that is more like a "depressed people play video games more often" and not a "people who play a lot of video games are more often depressed"

It would kind of be like if four children who were fans of Harry Potter killed themselves.
What I mean by that is the fact that things like Call of Duty and Harry Potter are wildly popular. It's more likely than not that any teenage male in these societies has played Call of Duty multiple times. There are probably multiple million teenage boys who sign in online to play more than 2-3 times a week, especially on breaks. Vast majority do not harm themselves.

The game may not be helping their mental state, but it's not something to blame. I don't think teen boy CoD players are a majority of suicides and I don't think suicides are committed by the majority of addicted CoD players.

Many teens don't like calling for help. If they're simply docile usually they can probably just put on a facade to cover real depression from inquirers like parents or acquaintances. "We didn't see it coming." can be said about a lot of suicides, especially those of youth, I think.
