We'll just have to put up with better multiplatform games until this releases. Times are hard. |
If that becomes the defacto counter response this holiday, then lol.

Can people stop acting like Last of Us remastered and a completely remade Halo 2 Anniversary (with an option of Master Chief collection) are in any way comparable lol
They are not

Quantum Break is very likely to be delayed, and Forza Horizon 2 will release, but I doubt it will release this year, but since there is a Forza game for each year, it's still a possibility. Project Spark isn't an exclusive. |
Still don't think Halo 2 and LOU should stand together in a comparison when one game is clearly not even a year old yet. Also, Project Spark isn't exclusive, but it also isn't on PS4. It is a differentiator for X1 no matter how you slice it. Titanfall is multiplat, yet sold X1's and gamers can and will use Titanfall to differentiate it from PS4.
Not really surprising, and may end up being a good move after the fact because the Fall lineup is absolutely stacked and the competition is going to be fierce.
Big games already confirmed for Fall release:
Destiny (September)
COD (November)
Driveclub (October)
Dragon Age (October)
Alien Isolation (October)
Far Cry 4 (November)
AC Unity (November?)
Evolve (October)

True. Almost every Xbox owner has played Halo 2, same goes for Xbox One owners.
But a lot of PS4 owners spent their last gen on the Xbox 360, and so never played TLOU.
Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Anyways, it was predictable. SOny never had big first years for its consoles. 2014 will be the year of multiplatforms. 2015 will be the year of the awesome exclusives. For Sony AND Microsoft. |
Pretty much this. And anyone who's acting as if it's extremely different for MS this year is just deceiving themselves.
They supposedly have:
A rather small/medium racing spin off
An intriguing looking game, by a developer that is kinda hit and miss with it's quality and which I suspect will be medium sized in regards to sales
And the collection of the older games of their biggest franchise
Definitely better than Sonys line up but still nothing earth shattering.
Next year is going to be the first really big year for exclusives on both platforms.

Yes, but do you seriously think Project Spark will "sell X1s" ?
I'm not saying TLOU "deserves" to be remade more than Halo 2, because that would be wrong. I'm saying that, no matter how you put it, it's still the remake of a game that the vast majority of X1 owners have played.

Can't be just drivclub and TLOU on the exclusive front this year. Sony has to have something up its sleeve. Go for the jugular this holiday.
