Wouldn't Marcelo score the Dutch goal though?

Yeah, but most people in Germany are "protestants", so....... GO ARGENTINA!!!
| Dark_Lord_2008 said: Germany have scored 18 goals from 6 matches. Argentina have only scored 8 goals from 6 matches. Germany have conceded 4 goals, Argentina have conceded 3 goals. Based on the stats Germany have huge edge over Argentina. Germany score a lot more goals and are exciting team to watch. Argentina struggle to score goals and rely heavily upon Messi. Germany can shut down Messi, Germany have more players that can score goals and do not rely upon one man. |
Germany scored 16 goals in the World Cup in 2010.
And how did that work out for them vs Spain?
Spain went on to win the entire tournament scoring only 8 goals (what Argentina has right now)
I'm sorry but you don't seem to know much about the sport...stats...rankings... and all of that means nothing, if I wanted to bring up stats... I could say Sabella Argentinas coach has never lost to a european side in 11 games and has scored 19 goals and only conceded 6 against the likes of Italy & Germany...but there is no point in saying it because it means nothing come Sunday.
Every match is diffrent and yes Germany did demolish a demoralized Brazil.. But does anyone remember the 2-2 tie with Ghana earlier in the tournament? extra time vs Algeria? it seems like no one remembers that.
I've talked to plenty of real German supporters and not netruals like on this board and they are extremely nervous, they very well know Sunday might and possibly could end up with Argentina winning the World Cup.
The confidence of some fans is way to high, and that makes it even better for Argentina. They are well orgainzed and arguably have the best defense in the tournament. I haven't seen a team shutdown Robben that well in a really long time.
Germany are favorites in this game but it won't be a blowout by any means, expect a game similar to the 1990 final.
I see this ending up 1-0 to the Germans with their midfield being to strong for Argentina..and with Argentina not trailing at any point in the tournament can't find a way to get the equalizer.
I would love to see a Argentina victory though.

Rizzoli has the final. Cant argue with that, though Howard Webb is the best referee in the world when he isnt taking orders from Alex Ferguson.

Brazil 2 - 1 Netherlands
FIFA is corrupt. They're going make sure that Brazil wins since they're the host country and they got destroyed by Germany.
This match (Who cares? Have to agree with Van Gaal on this one)
Netherlands 3-0 Brazil
