That was an entertaining final and in the end a deserved win for Germany. Chile is excellent at pressing as a unit but that's about it. Germany was struggling at first when they tried to build up slowly but their counter-attacks were so deadly the whole tournament. Chile had some good chances but mostly Germany would force them wide and cross which didn't cause much danger.

Oh and should have been a red for Jara. What an asshole he is.

edit. I was worried at first because Vidal got too much space for long shots. Portugal gave him zero space, that big guy with a sexy moustache kept him in his pocket.

Don't even want us to compete in that shitstain of a corrupt World Cup. Qatar hosting the FIFA World Cup has to be the height of corruption in not just football but sports as a whole. Still hoping FIFA will pull that shit or that there'll be a boycot. Qatar hosting a World Cup is just ridiculous, Qatar hosting a World Cup in the winter, which forces pretty much all countrie to reschedule their leagues, is insanity. We'll have a winter break of 2,5 months while the summer break will be about a month, it's just retarded. Especially competitions like the Premier League will be affected. Normally they have no winter break at all, now they'll have to have one just so the World Cup can be played then, and that might force them to have no summer break. You seriously might see a club like Chelsea win the league at the end of June, just for the next season to start the following week.

Not that I give a shit about club football but there is still some time until 2022. Germany is always ready to host a WC even if Qatar is dropped on short notice.

Everton are spending kings so far this year. Wouldn't have expected it. Yet not many have left either. They are building a good squad. Saints still only with the 1 signing in, we need more. Lots more.

Hmm, pie.

I seriously can't wait until this Chevrolet kit sponsorship with united is over, that logo is a major fucking eye sore and I'm so sick of it.
