It was awesome seeing Cincy beat the Crew, starting the potential rivalry off right. Even the Crew fans at that game gave the opponents a respectful applause after the upset. But now that they're actually making a deeper USOC run I'm rooting for FC Cincinnati to take it all. The minor leagues in the US and Canada are putting forth far better and more serious effort than ever before. That's being reflected in attendances across all competitions. Whether or not Cincy gets an MLS promotion it's important for the game to be supported at that level.

In fact they're facing an NASL team in the quarters. On the one hand that guarantees a second division club in the semis. On the other, I was hoping we'd get two. Still, that branch of the tournament has gotten more interesting.

Germany vs Chile is going to be really fun.

Under 21 Euros Final tonight. I expect a Germany win.

Ake has moved to Bournemouth for £20mil. They are doing well and hope they continue their success.

Hmm, pie.

Nah, Spain clearly looked better than our U21 B-squad and didn't need to play 120min in the semis - additionally our goalgetter Selke is injured and won't play the final. His substitute Platte is much more limited in his technical abilities.

That moment when you're in too many international finals with your B- and C-Team.

Probably gonna lose both though^^

We just won a major international trophy (under 20s) for the first time since 66... and we put our first team out every time.

Hmm, pie.

FC Utrecht defender Ramon Leeuwin was run over by a scooter/motorbike after he left training today, other FC Utrecht players and fans caught the driver and handed him over to the police after he made a run for it. He's been brought to a hospital with neck and back protection

Hopefully he'll fully recover

Odd place for an accident, especially as the guy tried to run away. Suspicious me thinks.

Hmm, pie.

Today's match could go either way. Our attack is good, but our defense is garbage. You know you have problems when your best defender is an Arsenal player.
