zbout 70% of all that I compleytely disagree with..........especially when you said forget the loftwings/epona/whatever!

In this day and age..........the world can be very dense ect and connected ect WITH optional travel mechanics.(imagine, a new one :P).

I think the loftwings could work i guess, but definitely not the horse. There's not one instance in Skyward Sword where you needed a horse, and that game has the best density in a 3D Zelda game.

Aonuma said that motion controls in Zelda U will be optional and that the GamePad will be used to its full potential!

No, please, no, leave voice acting out of it, I don't want another faces of evil, and keep epona as a form of transportation, it means not taking as long to get across the world

If you're thinking about how long it takes to cross the world, the world is designed poorly. No one ever traveled the overworld of SS or any of the 2D Zelda's and thought "gee, I really wish I had a horse right now." They don't need them. The fact that the other games do is an inate flaw in their game design. There should never be so much empty space in a game that it's a hastle to walk through. If 3D Zelda games had better overworld design, you wouldn't miss transportation. No one missed it in ALBW, did they?

Who knows. Aonuma did say that he wants Zelda U to use the GamePad to its full potential, so maybe motion controls will indeed be optional!

found this:  Eiji Aonuma On Motion Controls, Zelda 3DS & WiiU

GR: So do you think you'll continue to use motion control in the future? Will you ever go back to traditional controls?

EA: I don't think we could go back to button control, especially after creating something that's as natural to use as the interface that we have with the Wii Remote Plus in Skyward Sword. I think Nintendo will continue to have that focus on motion control and we'll see that continue to evolve. And the hardware as well, in a way that will let people control things very naturally just using their own motions.

GR: Is there any particular feature of the Wii U hardware that you're excited to work with?

EA: Obviously, it's the new controller that's got the screen built into it, and in particular we're looking at how we can combine that new controller with something like motion control, and perhaps use the new controller in such a way that it becomes a new item that you're able to use to make the game feel fresh and new.
