Nope. my wii u plays those games just fine. I would love to see Mario Sunshine in HD though!

I haven't played 2, so I wouldn't mind. But a better focus would be Sunshine. Then, perhaps release an HD collection of SMG1&2 if they are about to release Galaxy 3, perhaps on their next home console.

Make a third game, then make an hd trilogy, much like the metroid prime series

i would rather have Mario Sunshine HD, i havent played it in over a decade and the Galaxy games can be played on Wii U anyway

1. No need for an HD remake. If they made a one-to-one remake, the HD graphic's impact would be almost zero so the game wouldn't really benefit.

2. If there was an HD remake, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy it. I still have the Wii versions and I'm not willing to pay just for a graphical update.

I'm still waiting for Super Mario 64 HD.

They look gorgeous on the Wii...its totally not needed since the Wii U has BC. I would rather have some GC or N64 games remade.

Those saying that Wii games can be played on the Wii U anyway aren't realising the difference between an upscaled game's IQ and a remastered/remade game's IQ.

There's a HUUUUUGE difference. A version of Super Mario Galaxy HD proper would be worth double dipping for.
