Really X1 makes the most sense to me

The first one I simply call Xbox. Not like that needs shortening
Then we had the 360. Again, no need to ever call it anything else.
And now we have X1, which is the most logical abbreviation of it because as you can see we've gone from a length of 4>3>2 in terms of letters/numbers used for the call name.

Next Gen it will simply be X, that much is clear
