@Hynad the world in Watchdogs is much much bigger then ISS and plus their have multiple Cities each with their own huge area to explore. Its common knowledge that ,, the bigger the world,, the more taxing it will become. Plus watchdogs has alot more going on ,, in terms od physics and dynamic reflections when it rains and other minute stuff which add detail to the world . if i remember correctly ISS didn't have that dynamic reflection when it rains or when delsin goes over a puddle. He had no reflection. This extra thigns added to watchdogs make it hard for it to look like ISS

The size of the world is irrelevent, as I said. The whole world isn't loaded completely all the time. It gets streamed, for both games, as you move around the city.

As for the rest of your post, the judge is still out on which one is more taxing and why. But one thing is for sure, one is a multi-platform game, while the other isn't. I would give you that one. But I think that what's actually going on here is that some people won't accept that a game can look better when it's on the console that competes against their cherished one...

Watchdog looked on par if not better than ISS when they first revealed it to the world in 2012. But the visual quality got lowered and it's now really not as impressive as what we've seen in Second Son. I'm hoping the PC version will look as close as possible as that reveal trailer. But so far, console versions look really not as promising as back then, where everything looked dynamic (including character reflexion when it rains,  which doesn't seem to be any more present in Watchdog than it is in ISS, by the way).

Here's more footage from the XB1 version. I believe this is new, if not, disregard.

Bleh, embedding failed.

Edit: Just noticing, the draw distance on the cars is not too hot :( Otherwise, it looks good.

Looks kinda lifeless, GTA lite. The horrible you tube compression doesn't help.
Animations are a bit odd too, check out the women running at 7:00

Who ever is playing there is doing a terrible job promoting the game.

infamous looks better than watchdogs

the lighting and textures are just stunning and it's 1080p and runs at higher frames , watchdogs is 900p on ps4 and 7 something on Xbox1

it does look good though but not infamous standard, I wasn't going to get this but have changed my mind the leaked gameplay looked good I was worried as the false review said it looks just like GTAv from last gen

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I just can't get hyped for this...

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

i'll just wait for a goty edition. they will spam dlc for this game, like clothes, missions, minigames, multiplayer maps and skins, cars, music, 'homes', extra weather effects, more civilians, weapons, moves, uhm... and so on.

must-have-list for platforms i don't own yet:

WiiU: Donkey Kong

XBone: Dead Rising 3, Ryse

@Hynad --- The size of the world does matter, considering the draw distance of the game is huge . Bigger the world,, harder it is to maintain a high visual fidelity especially on console. Hence why Linear games like hte god of war series, ryse , uncharted series, TLOU look really good graphically. Thats because the area that teh player is allowed ot explore is small .

Well just to play on high settings and full HD on pc,, you will need graphics card starting from 760-780. Those card range are more powerful then either Xbone and PS4. IMO i would assume with all its physics ( rain, wind, water, car, destruction) would be quite taxing on the game. Yeah you are probably right. In saying that ,, i do agree that ISS is a good looking game :). Wasn't the 2012 footage at E3 the PC version? and the 2013 version the ps4 version?. ISS doesn't have dynamic reflection. When you have Delsin over a pudlle ,, he has no reflections lol. They couldn't add it to ISS . Plus none of know how old is that footage. Best to wait till the game comes out :)

So true Hynad. Very dissapointed in Watchdogs, some of the PS4 footage of the game literally looks like last gen. Considering how they first revealed it...its gone completely in the opposite direction. I guess your average consumer won't really know or care about all that...but its still a reality. I just wish companies would stop with the bullshot trailers.

To those saying Watchdogs looks better than Second Son...what are you smoking?

The level of detail in Second is waaaay higher than what we've seen from watchdogs. And unless they made massive improvements (which they haven't) then i dont even think its necessary to wait until the game is released.
