No by that time 360/ps3 support will have dried up and the Wii-U cannot handle XOne/PS4 game engines. Their not going to put that much effort into making a Wii-U version.

The Wii U had a very bad start though. PS3 & X360 ports as launch titles (just nasty). Doom articles before the console released. Developers lying about the Wii U power. No games for long periods of time... Nintendo is now in a position to right the ship with games. The games they have coming will almost make me forget its bad start. My opinion as of now is there offerings coming up is looking better then both other consoles. |
???wii u started pretty good sales wise, the problem was after the hype died out. Despise having ps360 ports it had a big casual game (Nintendo land) and the sequel of one of the best selling games of all times. Without mentioning zombi u, third-party exclusive. PS4 was in the same position, just Killzone at launch and some other cross-gen games, competition of xbox one plus is more expensive...
Wii u won't sell anywhere near to 12 millions, like the user above said, it did poorly in almost 2 years with already Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Mario 2d, 3d and zelda in the market. Is not gonna sell more than PS4 in a minor frame time even with Mario kart and smash combined.

You really believe that? That should've been a eshop title. It was coming to the X360 & PS3 reguardless. They all look identical beside the framerate issues. It was in mind just like Splinter Cell: Blacklist. |
no, why do YOU believe that. Rayman was supposed to be a launch game. then it got delayed then it got delayed again...
you know what maybe it was always intended to be a timed exclusive for the Wii U but that doesnt really prove they started development on the other versions at the same time. Otherwise they all would have released in Feb or at least in summer.

So if the X360 & PS3 support dry up, No "Wii U" version? So make it for those platforms but not Wii U. That's just nasty, although you might be very well right.
Wii sold 100 million+ and 3rd parties hardly cared.

Nope. Its alright though cause Wii U owners don't really care about third party games.
What would be the point any way? There's not a huge amount of time to develop games this generation outside of half-assed ports.
Also, to say that Wii U owners don't care about third party games is simply wrong. What Wii U owners don't care about are the lowsy half-assed efforts made by Western third parties, they are poor at properly utilizing interfaces that are not iPhone or a Playstation controller.
Western third parties are better used serving the console audience who want the same shooter and same sports games year after year after year with slightly better graphics.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
3rd party support just isn't going to happen.
Maybe Ubi will keep supporting it with their cross gen titles. EA and Activision will release the family orientated stuff on it as well, but core support? Not a chance.
