The saddest part is that doesn't even surprise me

Stores haven't had inventory in a while in preparation for the 2000. Not that the 2000 will light the world on fire, but it's not really an accurate measurement of demand.

"Low Vita sales are due to demand constraints, explains Sony."

"... I'm sorry? What's a 'Vita'?" explains Sony.

This is pretty sad ... I mean I knew it wasn't going to do great, but these numbers are frightening. I mean these are like Virtual Boy/dying Sega Saturn level of sales.

It's a nice handheld to be honest, far better than the PSP from a hardware POV, and it even has some decent games. Just not good enough in this marketplace I suppose. Handheld market is in a lot of trouble.

Seece why do you hate Nintendo so much?

Because I'm a Sony fanboy.

Of course it is doing terribly, I love the system and am most excited about it for 2014.

3DS is pretty much a flop compared to it's predecessor too..

Tablets and smartphones are destroying the handheld gaming market for sony and nintendo, and unfortunately for nintendo.. they are barely surviving with the Wii u
