3DS is pretty much a flop compared to it's predecessor too..

Tablets and smartphones are destroying the handheld gaming market for sony and nintendo, and unfortunately for nintendo.. they are barely surviving with the Wii u

But at least it's making money, unlike Wii U/Vita. And that's what matters, not a silly comparison.

I wonder who will be more succesful at the end of this gen: Nintendo with the great, but not amazing 3DS and the (this could change a bit in the next month/s) horrible but with a lot of pontential Wii U, or Playstation with the horrendous but loved Vita, and the fantastic (but not as unbelievable as expected) PS4!? Place your bets here, there's a long way to go!

Oh didn't you hear? The Wii U actually makes money now per unit anyway.

Yikes that's awful! This thing should just be discontinued.

Yikes!!!!! I knew it was doing bad but wow. It's doing a bit better in Europe but only Japan is holding it up at the moment :/

its easy when sony doesnt ship any new ones to begin with. you couldnt find a new vita anywhere within 100 miles from my location from gamestop, sears, walmart, target, best buy, or toysrus before the borderlands package arrived.

So that means PSVita is overtracked as fuck here?

third party fault

Nope, just an unappealing machine.

It has Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, FIFA, Persona, Need for Speed, Final Fantasy, Rayman, LEGO, Madden, Batman, Metal Gear...

Its had plenty of support from 3rd party studios. You could possibly argue that its had better support from Western developers than the 3DS, which is bordering on idiotic when you look at sales figures.

not going to stop me from getting one in the summer

Are people really saying this is due to supply.... wow.

Told ya, it's Sony creating artificial demand. Retailers are screaming for new shipments as we speak and once the new model is out and on shelves sales will skyrocket and more than make up for the recent drop.

Ha ha haoly crap.

Smeags prepared me for this!

It's a character building time to be a Vita owner. Lets see what May brings us.

Low supply =/= high demand.
