UBISOFT HOPES TO SELL OVER 6 MILLION COPIES OF WATCH DOGS

138
The long-delayed AAA game will be here on May 27.

Ubisoft is targeting over 6.3 million copies sold for its upcoming game, Watch Dogs.

CEO Yves Guillemot shared the number today during a company financial call. The sales goal was set with the success of the first Assassin's Creed game in mind.

Ubisoft recently announced Far Cry 4, which will be out this year on November 18. For more on Watch Dogs, check out IGN's exclusive series where we dive into the game's story, setting, and technology.

It probably won't happen, because they delayed the WiiU version!

This game had better do that otherwise I'm going in rol style.

They will sell that in the first month probably......

Upon first reveal I though it absolutely would hit such numbers. After the delay I thought it was still possible, but trickier. With all the news and concerns around it I am no longer sure, especially if they want those six million sales to be $60 ones. This game is definitely one will to wait a year on.

Hopefully this will be a good game.

Think it will reach that unless it gets dreadful reviews

The game looks really interesting, there are so many options on what you can do. I like the idea and I hope Ubi gets profits from it.

I hope it's a good game and sells well but I'm not sure about 6.3 million

I'm not sure if it can manage, but if it does it'd be amazing :D.
