You do know that voice commands are possible without Kinect. Amazon and DirecTV do it via a tiny speaker in the remote. Heck, even PS4 does it via headset (and I agree, it was a great feature in Tomb Raider). So, all MS needs to do by June is issue an update so you can control your XOne via headset, and you can have that amazing feature and save $100.
As far as motion control, unless you like dancing, nothing is lost. MS had 4 years to come up with a game for it, and they've only come up with a ton of shovelware casual crap...
