Well we shall see.  That momentum based purely on good will won't last forver unless they start delivering.  Smart arse tweets and childish pranks by grown men becomes tiresome after a while.  It might start to look desperate too.

I think the consensus of the neutral gaming press is that right now the ONE has the better software line up and has the better experience.   Lol, even Francis thinks so... thats some turnaround.

Because it's fun to point those things out to people, especially when they're really adamant about it. There is no malicious intent behind something like this (or at least not for me) it's just a fun part of forum posting, when someone makes a prediction like this, he should be aware that people might come back to call him out on it, when/if it turns out wrong and there's no harm in doing that (of course there are always points where things stop being funny)

Especially in this case I really don't see why anyone would be mad when he's being called out for being wrong, after all this is nothing but good news for the Xbox (even though I've seen people trying to spin this saying things like this would make the developer community mad, because it's going to split the userbase etc.)

I agree with you 100% mate. Xbox haters will have no excuse to bash Microsoft anymore.. But I must admit that I am a bit sad and disappointed because this will mean that Microsoft will drop support for Kinect games now that its no longer mandatory. Do you have the same concern?

Not really, I'm not arsed either way.  If they bring some, great, if they dont... fine.

You have to also look at who has already been utilized.

Sucker Punch JUST launched Infamous so don't expect a game from them soon

Uncharted is looking like its pretty far away considering the layoffs / very little info

Guerrilla put out Killzone only 6 months ago, and while I know they have another IP coming down the pipe it is most likely still at BEST a year away

Santa Monica just had a big chunk of staff layed off, one of their most important devs leave the company, and a big brand new IP canceled. 

Now that isn't just doom and gloom for Sony by any means, and as I said they are traditionally very strong with software. They very well could come out and blow our socks off at E3 with tons of amazing reveals. That being said many of the big players seem to be quite a ways away from launching another game for the PS4.
