How good are they? Never played Valkyria Chronicles 3.

Very, very good.

Because they also made the Wild ARMs games, which is my favourite JRPG series of all time!

Holy shit! That sounds awesome. This is probably going to be the best Digimon game yet.

In Japan sure, but what about the rest of the world?

The thing about Vita is that it's going to last longer than 3DS, just like PSP outlived DS. It won't sell anywhere near it, but it'll still end up with healthy enough sales by legging it out.

If it does good in Japan vita had the chance to get a Final Fantasy game,Kingdoms heart and MGS wich are big and will help vita a lot and will encourage  3rd party to make a better support in west.

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

This year 3DS will sold more in Japan.
With Smash Bros and Pokemon 3Gen remake Vita don't win.
But for me in 2015 Vita will sold more of 3DS in Japan, and i think will sold 10,000,000 in all generation.
Good result. :)

Borderlands 2- May
PSVita Pets- June
One Piece- July
Sword Arts Online (summer)
Minecraft- Q3
Freedom Wars - TBA 2014
Tales of Heart R - fall
Oreshika: Tainted bloodlines TBA (hopefully fall 2014)

On paper it looks decent, with obviously more to be announced. The system has had a pretty weak 4 months over here with only a  few indie games and some super niche titles like conception and Danganronpa but things should improve, hopefully the Vita should find a NA/EU baseline aroud 10-16k in the not too distant future.

The Vita is only going to perform better and better in Japan, this should hopefully translate into more games over there which will eventually be localised. The problem with the Vita is that alot of its releases in the past have been very isolated and recieved very little press, sony need to start sending cupcakes to the likes of IGN to get them talking about Vita content again lol....

They also need to be more tactical about releases, firstly they need to bundle things in the west (not just Borderlands: a game which most have already played).Secondly they need to group games together to create momentum, even if it means holding back some releases. For expample I think Minecraft, Freedom Wars and Tales of Hears R would do much more if they were released in the same month (say october)... As opposed to being spread between August-November at which point people would still cry no games!

If half those games gets localized next year is gonna be as insane as this one in terms of games!!!!! I mean, this summer alone is gonna be very generous with localizations of japanese games already

Mobile is the future. Accept it.

UK lineup so far this year has been pretty decent from a quality perspective, just been lacking in blockbuster system sellers :(

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z - Action - January

Toukiden: The Age of Demons - Hunting - February
Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havok - Visual Novel - February
Ys: Memories of Celcelta - Action RPG - February
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God - Strategy RPG - February
Lego Movie: The Video Game - Action - February

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD - JRPG - March
Deception IV: Blood Ties - Weird random dungeon puzzle murder game?! - March
Invizimals: The Alliance - Monster Collecting/Battling - March
MXGP - Racing - March

Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends - Action - April
Football Manager 2014: Classic - Sim - April
Demon Gaze - Dungeon RPG - April
Sly Cooper Trilogy - Platformer - April
Lego: The Hobbit - Action - April

God of War Collection - Action - May
Putty Squad - Platformer - May
Borderlands 2 - TPS RPG - May

Upcoming confirmed physical releases:

Farming Simulator 2014 - Sim - June
Hyperdimension Neptunia Producing Perfection - JRPG - June
PlayStation Pets - Action/Sim - June
Moto GP 2014 - Racing - June
One Piece Unlimited World Red - Action - June

Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited - Strategy RPG - July

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Dispair - Visual Novel - September
Natural Doctrine - Strategy RPG - September

These are just ones with confirmed release dates. There are a fair few other games which have been confirmed for release but not had a release date given yet. (Freedom Wars, Minecraft, Akiba's Trip) and also games only so far confirmed for the US/Physical only in the US (Senran Kagura Burst, Conception II etc.)

That is just physical releases and does include the decent quantity and quality of Digital releases that also coming out inc TxK, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva, MLB 2014: The Show, and of course all the masses of indies which Shahid keeps signing. I'd say it's certainly a lot better than last year so far. ^_^ if they can just get a system seller or two across here it's not the barren gaming desert store shelves make it look.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
