In Japan sure, but what about the rest of the world?

Borderlands 2- May
PSVita Pets- June
One Piece- July
Sword Arts Online (summer)
Minecraft- Q3
Freedom Wars - TBA 2014
Tales of Heart R - fall
Oreshika: Tainted bloodlines TBA (hopefully fall 2014)

On paper it looks decent, with obviously more to be announced. The system has had a pretty weak 4 months over here with only a  few indie games and some super niche titles like conception and Danganronpa but things should improve, hopefully the Vita should find a NA/EU baseline aroud 10-16k in the not too distant future.

The Vita is only going to perform better and better in Japan, this should hopefully translate into more games over there which will eventually be localised. The problem with the Vita is that alot of its releases in the past have been very isolated and recieved very little press, sony need to start sending cupcakes to the likes of IGN to get them talking about Vita content again lol....

They also need to be more tactical about releases, firstly they need to bundle things in the west (not just Borderlands: a game which most have already played).Secondly they need to group games together to create momentum, even if it means holding back some releases. For expample I think Minecraft, Freedom Wars and Tales of Hears R would do much more if they were released in the same month (say october)... As opposed to being spread between August-November at which point people would still cry no games!
