Indeed. Not to mention simply because a game is "niche" in some respects, doesn't mean it's not a system seller.

As someone whose been playing FF14 for months, it's quite surprising to see how many in my FC have bought a PS4 simply to upgrade from their PS3 version. To most people 1 game isn't enough to justify a new console, but to someone who invests hundreds of hours in a single game it seems like a pretty good deal. Especially since the PS4 version is on par with the PC, yet with a considerably smaller price tag.

I'm sure you have noticed this too desk.

Ofcoz! MMO gamers are hardcore like that. I can't wait to see what EverQuest Next is going to do.

What games you believe to be good is subjective, 4.5 million users believe that xbox exclusives are better, where as 7.5 million believe that ps4 exclusives are better. If you believe that the xbone has better games then all you have to do is exchange your ps4 for a xbone and play the "better" games.

In short, Kudos to Microsoft. They really went crazy at the start of the generation with the DRM thing, but dammit, I really want to play the games that they are making. It is a gaint nutpunch to the effort that Sony has put out so far. And the PS4's future is still pretty bare from what I've seen. 

There's more games than TLOU on PS4, and to be fair TLOU Remake >>>>> Garden Warfare + Peggle 2, and do you care about Titanfall when you don't play COD?


Garden Warfare is coming to the PS4. Its just under timed exclusivity lockdown to keep it away from Sony. Once again MS strikes again making people think they have real exclusives.

Maybe this has more to do with quality and marketing. There seem to be a lot of people saying Sony has no games. That has 2 meanings to it.

1. They really don't have any games.

2. They don't have any games that people give a shit about.

Mostly everything from the Sony camp has been ports or poor rated games. What.... Daylight just came out and is terrible and MLB The Show just dropped and has lost quality over the past few years. Now we an HD remake, more rumored to come, and indie ports.

Mix all that in with the terrible marketing Sony continues to have and it makes me shocked that people can't understand why other people think Sony has no games.

Sony on their own take a while to start hitting their stride with games, but when they do MS is in trouble. This gen is starting off no different than the 360 did on Microsofts part. Their dependence on outside companies will hurt them when the exclusives start drying up and first party begs to be expanded. This is exactly what happened to the 360 after the first three years. Microsoft cares about the first impresson, but when its all said and done and they amass a mountain of third party exclusives when the time to fend for themselves happens they are at a loss.

STAGE,I think you should publish a profile book of MS.

I guess all the internal studios formed lately and partnership MS have done will simply vanish because you have a crystal ball that no one has.

Forgive me if I've forgotten about all the games both next gen consoles had last year. The only thing of note so far on the XB1 is a multiplat and a kinect game. Niether of which I am intrested in/need an XB1 for.

XB1 has no games.
