@max king and Porcupeth : Check OP. The quote i gave came from one of the developers of driveclub. Even sony said that to. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-05-01-whats-included-in-driveclubs-free-playstation-plus-edition and http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/05/07/driveclub-playstation-plus-edition-details-2/ where the community manager said what i said. Eurogamer one has Chris brown SCEE community manager also saying the exact thing i said.

Its bullshit but at least they let you taste a good chunk of the game and decide for yourself if you want the full disc which comes with 3 months of PS Plus or the upgrade with "limitations"

I'm so confused how people can't see what's wrong with this? Just because the PS+ upgrade is 1 option of a few to buy the game, doesn'tjustify it. Nobody is complaining about the free version or the $60 year version(retail or online), it's the PS+ upgrade that is pissing people off and taking advantage of the consumer.

Believe it or not, the majority of gamers have no idea what's entailed if they decide to upgrade. Most will likely think, "Hey, it only cost me $50 for the PS+ version compared to $60 for the other version" probably thinking it's a normal discount on PS+ without knowing the details. That's the issue here people. If someone can't see what's wrong with this model, then I'm sincerely sorry for you.

Oh look more options...
a) https://twitter.com/yosp
"Yoshida-San, why can't I play the upgraded game with out ps+? Why can't I just get a discount for the retail game for being a PS+ subscriber like every other discounted game on PS+?

b) become hypocrite
Defend "optional" DRM

c) do nothing, (followed by b, but no words are said)

d) be ignorant
get exploited.
blissfully ignorant.

EDIT: anytime anyone of you hypocrits, call MS anticonsumer, your getting a link to this thread.

and that link will be completely irrelevant and off topic and you should be moderated

So I get 3 options to play the game
1 is free with PS+ and just a small percentage of the full game
1 is an expensive rental tight with PS+
1 is the full game
And I missing the choice that is anti-consumer???

@riecsou -- if you upgrade the psn plus free digital version to the full game then if your account is not renewed,, the game you paid 50 bucks ( for the upgrade) won't be able to be played until you have renewed your psn plus account. Thats the anti consumer that people here and other websites are complaining about. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-05-01-whats-included-in-driveclubs-free-playstation-plus-edition and http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/05/07/driveclub-playstation-plus-edition-details-2/

I'll play the Plus version for the first few months then buy the Retail version for 39.99.

WIN WIN

I'm really just happy that I'm getting some quality game content free with Plus.

I'm a whiny entitlist because I care about the consumers interest? Good to know, I guess I am then :)
