To answer your question, yes, Vita likely outshipped 3DS past q, tho we wont see by how much.

It will be more than disastrous. Being below Vita is maybe what they needed to step up their game. Smash for summer, Pokemon for holiday and start new handheld promotion for 2015.

Again, read the OP then you wouldn't have to make posts like these. IF Vita wasn't overshipped for Q4 then shipments could very well be higher. Just because 3DS overshipped last Q doesn't mean Vita did.
