To be fair the xbone threads back then were pretty bad or even worse.

At least these have numbers to discuss. It just sucks because its bad news.

To answer the Seece's question I want to say they both are probably at a tie. Shipments to the US for the quarter have pretty much been zero due to the phasing out of the 1000 model. Japan the strong point and Europe a toss up with anecdotal evidence (through the top 40 in the UK and other tallers) of lackluster shipments.

Thanks, great contribution. Didn't know about the phasing out of the 1000 model. I really hope Sony reveal Vita figures seperate from PSP this Q.

Anyway why can't you compare the shipments? He never questioned whether or not Vita would outship 3DS lifetime. He's talking about one Q.

We won't ever know because Sony doesn't provide discrete Vita numbers, so all we can say is that it's plausible. Very bad quarter for 3DS shipments, by the way.
