they just announced it two months ago for 2016. what could possibily make them announce the delay now?

My thought exactly, not saying it can't be delayed but now less than 2 months after its reveal? Color me sceptical... he might just have misheard or was thinking of something else since the release window wasn't mentioned in the streamed interview either.
