What? No. Coconut Mall, Grumble's Volcano, Moonview Highway, Rainbow Road, Koopa Cape and Bowser Castle are very good. Also, I can say the same of MK7.

I didn't say that MKWii didn't have good original tracks! I only said that the retro ones were the best!

That's because nostalgia. To me retro tracks of MK7 were the best and I'm sure I'll say the same about MK8 after looking the vids.

Mario Kart 64 still dances above MK7.

And MKWii laughs at MK7.

Yup. MKWii was a such great game! That's why its best tracks were the retro ones!

Moonview Highway is the shittiest course ever made. Koopa Kape is nothing speciale compared to Dolphin Shoals. Coconut Mall is ok, but nothing to brag about.

Wii's Rainbow Road is better than Mario Kart 8's Rainbow Road though, I'll give you that.

Mount Wario alone looks better than any original Mario Kart Wii track......in my opinion!

What? Monview Highway is one of the best since Toad's Turnpike.

So many claims without anything to back them up are being thrown around right now! xD

I hate courses with traffic, it makes no sense to me in the Mario universe. And you can't take a single turn in Moonview Highway without bumping into traffic. I'm not even sure how I ever managed to get 3 stars in that cup.

I somewhat like Toad's Turnpike on Wii U because you can avoid the traffic by riding on walls or use the traffic to jump into the air.

It's not like any of these claims actually can be backed up at all. In the end, it all boils down to which game had most of a certain person's favorite tracks. Which is totally subjective.

Well what an unfair review; if you're not going to test the online then what's the point really?

Still, very difficult to tell but do you even need a review for this game? If you like Mario Kart; you'll like this. End of discussion really.

I thought that about MK once, but then I played Double Dash, and years later I played MK7.

Hmm true. Perhaps it's not a blanket statement but I'm sure 90% of people interested in getting the game already know what they're gonna get.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Yup yup, that's why I don't use tracks as a reason to put one MK over another!

I call the blue shell "den eerste is eraan"
I call the red shell a "rodeken"
I call the green shell a "groeneken"
I call the blooper an " stommen inktvis"
I call the mushrooms a "versnellingske"

Could make a good thread about how you name the MK items. :D

Good review from Edge, they're usually very strict!

Meh dutch names doesn't work..

Works better than English if you're bantering with friends! We never use the official names, we just made up names along the way.

Ik zeg altijd "blauw schildje", "rooie schildje", "groene schildje", "inkt" en "paddestoel". Ga ze toch niet in t Engels noemen tijdens de race? Veel te lastig!
