Ok ty. my question was out of curiosity, since the last MK game i played, was on Snes. I only know Green and Red shell :)

Not even close to true. Mario Kart has changed a lot over the multiple games. Theres a very high chance that if your a fan of one you wont be a fan of another.

I have to disagree. You know if you're going to buy Mario Kart 8; and you know if you're not interested. Unlike a lot of games, reviews aren't going to really determine people's decision on whether to buy the game or not (though if it reviews really poorly, which it won't, there could be a few people who drop out).

Interested and liking it are 2 very different things.

Such as me and MK7. After DS and Wii absolutely killing it I was of course interested in MK7, however the more I played it the more I realised I didnt like it.
