It referenced him being in the Mario movie, because I thought more people would click and read the article if they knew it was him, but some people took great offence, so I took it out. The thread has since met a very predictable death.

I don´t blame you, this is a gaming site and link Bob Hoskins to gaming was a decent idea.He was always the good actor in bad movies for me, except of course, for a few gems on his resume, such as Roger Rabbit, Mona Lisa and the CG Christmas Carol movie.

I loved him in Roger Rabbit and even the Super Mario Bros. movie. I didn't know it was him in Hook until just now! Good memories. :)

He only retired less than 2 years ago. Not much of a retirement. When interviewed he always seemed so friendly. I've enjoyed many of his films even the Mario film. A lot of the time he did his best work in a support role. Rest in peace.
