He was great in Mermaids- surprised it wasn't mentioned as it came out a year before Hook- which he wasn't a big part of, and tbh as much as I love Hook it was really quite terrible, hardly a milestone in his career.

He was great in Who Framed Rodger Rabbit he also was very good in Enemies at the Gate. To bad he had to die too soon because of Parkinson's disease.

Am I the only one who liked the Mario Bros. movie? I took it for what it was, an uber cheesy adaptation of a video game, and Bob Hoskins was actually pretty good as Mario with his gruff NY accent.

John Leguizamo as Luigi however... absolutely terrible, and Dennis Hopper was obviously just looking for a quick paycheck when he signed up for the role as King Koopa.
