The numbers are a joke, if Amazon even remotely represents what's going on at other retailers they Xbox One numbers will be ridiculously low for April. It hasn't been their top 20(daily) for almost 2 weeks, and currently it's out of the top 40.

I guess we're only allowed to question numbers if kowenicki doesn't like them. 

It is illogical for the XOne to have sold approximately the same amount on the week ending on the 19th as on the week ending on the 12th when the price of the console went back up to $500. Meanwhile, the PS4 is always (significantly) ahead in best sellers charts in major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, Toys R' Us, etc. For the XOne to lead by 12k in the US is highly suspicious, especially in the context of VGC being caught for incorrectly naming the XOne the victor in March when NPD said the exact opposite.

april isnt december is it? npd isnt ww is it? and i hardly doubt many people are assuring that

18 million was the top prediction made in VGC if I remember...

There is absolutely no reason to be like that. I question these numbers and I also think they're wrong, but I also appreciate the fact ioi allows the furum users to express their doubt or discontent without being banned.

As 'seriouslyfrustrated' said, you can be skeptical, but untill you have any data of your own to put forward in contradiction, perhaps stick to discussing the numbers as they stand?

Things are starting to look a little rough for next gen consoles. Hopefully E3 will reignite the spark. Looking forward to Call of Duty being a PS4/XBO/PC exclusive. The industry has to push forward, and people will follow along when they are ready. Moving game development to the X86 and standard GPU tech is going to drastically reduce cost and effort, and that is good for the industry.

Hopefully in the mean time MLB The Show, and Watch Dogs will keep things moving decently tell we get the big push of new services, and major game announcemnts.
