Guys relax. I just gave you the internal listing we have for the bundle. As always when I tell you guys stuff this is early info it COULD change.

That said Ive never seen a pre release consoles price change when its at a set dollar. This would be the first I've seen but not impossible.

I remember back in '96 when the N64 launched it was supposed to be $249 and at the very last minute - I'm talking a few days to a week before launch day - it was changed to $199.

I really hope that something similar happens here.

$350?! The folks at Nintendo need to stop taking Nintendo Ecstasy as soon as possible!

Amazon UK has the Mario Kart 8 bundle at £220, that is a great price.

It would still be more expensive than the NA price of $350 after converting it.

the conversion is never like that. if a console costs X euros, it's generally X dolars too. not a direct conversion, just the same number.

Yes for Euros and Dollars its priced the same but not for British Pound Sterling. There currency has a very high value.

And I was just trying to show that NA still gets the lowest price for consoles.

God, I hope that $350 bundle price is just a placeholder.  I was actually hoping for a price drop for a WiiU/Kart bundle but I was pretty sure that wasn't happening.

But if Nintendo hikes the price up $50?  Well, so much for Kart having any significant impact on HW sales...

Yeah a $50 price drop with Mario Kart bundled for free would have been the best option. $250 to get the system and the game if they want to seriously move some hardware. Even if it's just a temporary price drop like the XBO in March

That would be something, at least.  A temporary price drop to spike sales and then maybe a permanent one near the holidays.

It would make for some good bragging rights for E3 and maybe help out Iwata regarding Nintendo's shareholder meeting in June.

Gaming is very expensive here in the UK, trust me £220 for a next gen console (yes it is next gen) and a AAA game bundle is a decent price. I could get the Mario Kart 8 bundle and buy SM3DW, DKTF and W101 for the same price (or slightly cheaper) than a PS4.

Found the bundle through a news article, cause I couldn't for the life of me find it through normal amazon search:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Premium-Pack-Mario-Kart/dp/B00E4LGGY0/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1398342093&sr=8-7&keywords=Mario+Kart+8+Wii+U

It's £250 by now.

If the NA price is supposed to be $350, why on earth would anybody buy it? One could buy the Zelda or NSMBU bundle for $300 and buy Mario Kart separately for $50 or $60.

We already have a thread on this, but ok...

I definitely have no regrets jumping on that Wii U deal Target had now!
