Its exciting but dont get your hopes up too high!

They will have an actual conference this year because they will want the "Quality Of Life" thing to get media attention.

I think they should only really have smaller specific game focused directs from now on. Save all the unannounced stuff for E3 every year so people get excited for your system. Have the directs for announced games and eshop things.

I suspect they're going to have both this year:

1) A Mario Kart 8 dedicated Nintendo Direct at the end of May

2) A pre-E3 Nintendo Direct either the morning before or the day before their E3 conference

3) An E3 conference

I reckon we're going to hear news of the following - release dates for Bayonetta 2, SSBU, Yarn Yoshi, X, SMT x Fire Emblem, news that the first Bayonetta game is coming to the Wii U, Zelda U and another GameCube game or two given the Wind Waker HD treatment...and maybe a chance that we'll hear something about Star Fox and Metroid.

I thought Nintendo was done with E3? Either way, I am also concerned about the lack of press releases this year.

Maybe Reggie will share what's in his folder.

I'm guessing in an effort to appeal to the Western "core" they will announce that Fatal Frame U or whatever it will be called will get localized...
Perhaps we will see a new IP that isn't a simple eShop title...
And as much as I hope we'll see Zelda am I actually not all that excited...
I want to see things that I didn't expect...

No way they'll be topping last year's E3 anytime soon, but it should still be pretty solid! Also, I believe they'll have another Direct in May, but it'll be mostly Mario Kart 8 focused. At the end of said direct, they'll announce how they plan on doing E3 this year. Whatever the plan, it better include those hands-on events! ^_^

You don't have to imagine it, just look back at their E3 2012!

Yes, I think so, too. They didn't really show so much this year. So let's hope for something great but please guys don't overdo it. Otherwise you will be disappointed!
