Games just take time. We're only 5 months.

It is not realistic though.

For example, some of those studios could be working on ports.  Others could be supporting the initiatives of other studios whilst maintaining a Vita focus etc.

Taking a conservative estimate for major first party games at costing $40 million (very conservative for the bigger ones in particular) that'd be a $440 million investment in first party games before taking into account ongoing costs of studio maintenance, paying a single dollar for third party content etc.  Don't get me wrong, I hope that is the case because it'd be awesome, but I wouldn't bet on it.


Sony will invest in it. Sony first party is very trust worthy second if only to Nintendo.

Sony certainly has a strong committment too its first party.  But they wont have all those studios making $40million+ games for PS4 - certainly not all of them willl wind up meeting anyone's reasonable definition of 'AAA.'


With the profits they are generating from the PS4 they'll turn a profit on it faster than th Wii U. They'll be able to reinvest much easier this gen than last gen. They lost far too much money.

I wish I could say F**k you in this site without being banned man, this is such a nonsense thread, I have both Xbox One and PS4 and, let me tell you, sony is slaughtering MS in terms of games, there is nothing on MS Store comparing to PSN, which is giving free games too, damn good games also, like Outlast.

I hope so.  Now wouldn't be the time to drop the ball.  After all thats essentially what MS and Nintendo both did with their own momentum - its allowed Sony to come in over the top simply by not screwing up any of the basics!

Well to be fair, the OP does talk about AAA games, and while games like Outlast are great games, they're not AAA. Also, you just said "fuck you" =P

It all depends on whether you prefer playing with a controller or a mouse and keyboard.

PS4 version runs at 1080P 60 FPS so there's really no difference in terms of graphical quality and framerate between the PC and PS4 version...Unless of course you have a very good PC and prefer to run at a higher FPS/Resolution.

I disagree... all of them are working in a AAA game right now.

I can agree they won't be release at the same time but they will have at least four AAA games release per year.

It is a shame you did not get the free PS4 version, they gave it on PSN Plus, it is PERFECT for the big screen tv and it works great on the PS4, it is awesome in short bursts, but not more than 20-30 min because it is really scary...
