Knack and DriveClub are not AAA IMO.
I love these lists. You forgot Agent and The Last Guardian though.
Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I disagree... all of them are working in a AAA game right now. I can agree they won't be release at the same time but they will have at least four AAA games release per year. |
I guess that comes back to your definition of AAA then - because I would say that is highly unlikely?
But as you suggested that Knack counts as AAA, I don't think we'll agree on what that definition should be

AAA = budget.
There is no other definition in the game industry... if the game is good or not doesn't matter... just the budget you have to create the game.

I hope so. Now wouldn't be the time to drop the ball. After all thats essentially what MS and Nintendo both did with their own momentum - its allowed Sony to come in over the top simply by not screwing up any of the basics! |
Sony is the most open brand to third parties and has above average first party. They are generally expected to win each gen. They have the tools that make Nintendo and Microsoft most successful. Microsoft uses third party games to look good and Nintendo lacks third party but has top notch first party. Sony does both, which is why they tend to easily excell if there are no barriers placed in their way, which was only one generation since they've been in gaming.

Sony and Nintendo will get at least four first party exclusives per year. Based on track records MS has the highest chance of having the most second party.

? Resogun is not indie too... Street Fighter is AAA because Capcon spent a lot to create it (they didn't have budget and staff to work on SFV). |
Every industry professional regards Resogun as a indie title. Stop elevating games to where they arent.
