The game is not worth a full price $60.

Well I have personally put just over 69 hours into the game and I would say that is well worth the 60 I payed for it. I have never bought a shooter for the Single Player side of things as they are always lacking. I would rather a MP focus than mediocore on boths SP and MP.

http://kotaku.com/titanfall-was-almost-destroyed-by-lawsuits-1563797787 another snippet from the ebook. But apparently putting vids and links to the thing and who the author is makes it BS.

It's more of the fact that this website said "Microsoft saved Titanfall from being canned, sony lacked cooperation/openness" when that didn't happen. None of what you linked says anything about that.

You should read the full ebook/app. It talks about how they approached Sony multiple times even prior to signing the deal with MS and were essentially turned away. Most likely due to the financial situation they are in. Funding indies is one thing and funding third party is another.

Are you saying Sony doesn't fund third partys except for indies? Are you serious?

umm, people this is not fake. this is from the final hour of titanfall with geoff keighley, HE INTERVIEWED VINCE AND THE REST OF THE TEAM AT RESPAWN. i bought the app on itunes, all of whats said in that article is FACT. Go buy  it yourself before you start claiming shit.

Guy, listen. A lot of these guys dont want this to be real. They have been actively spreading negative bullshit about MS and Titanfall since the reveal. Its not negative MS news anyway so fuggettaboutit

EDIT: I guess it's not fake then. Bummer, sounds like Sony missed out on this one.

To who?

I do sort of agree with him, but not on the basis of lacking a proper single player (which in fairness he doesnt say that) but due to the lack of longevity the game provides. It was a good game and I really enjoyed it, for less than 24 hours (about 16 would be about right). Where as Battlefield 4 with all its problems even prevented me playing it, I clocked up almost 300 hours and still dont feel like I experienced everything, just got a bit bored of what I had. Yet with Titanfall, as much as I enjoyed it, which I did, I felt like I had done it all after 16 hours (max) of play.

For me it has been the opposite. BF bored me after about 40 hours and I just couldn't stomach it anymore.

oh my god, what has become of the internet, Nintendo can't do right, Microsoft can't do right, the only company that can do right is Sony, any article about something good about Nintendo or Microsoft will be plagued by "yes but Sony it's so much better and they sold 7 millions PlayStations 4 so yeah take that Nintendard, lolololol".

I know that it's a bad sign that the op didn't give source, but c'mon,

On the contratry, Microsoft if they were responsible for bringing this game to light, kudos to them. Sony missed out, but if this info is correct I can understand Sony's decision. Im glad Microsoft however did aid in making the game a reality, as even though I dont think it provided me as much value as BF4 (as stated in my last post, and in fairness not many games do) I really enjoyed the time I did spend with it.

Well thats always an opinion on any game, a game I might think is shit, you might think is great, and a game I play for day, you might play for months or years :) that just comes down to personal taste and doesnt make either one of us wrong :) thought usually a majority will follow trend, but thats a whole different thread where we ask people who played both who played which more :p

nope, its rael. just saw it on there Facebook page.

Lol yeah of course proving people wrong about MS buying Titanfall and how EA was soooo sorry for not making a PS4 version isn't going to please to the majority here... Corporations make mistakes too you know. Wasn't it MS that turned exclusivity to GTA 3?

Yeah some big mistake from MS back then. They all do their best, people should acknowledge this instead of praising one to holy heaven while trying to bury the others.

Well thank you ms for saving the game
