Forums - Gaming - Microsoft saved Titanfall from being canned, sony lacked cooperation/openness

I find it strange that Sony would be so closed-doors on this kind of game, but with their indie publishing party, they're the most open of any console. It's probably because they didn't want any PS4 specs to leak and tip their hand to MS.

Disappointed, so I'll have to play on PC for now. Hopefully they can work with Respawn to bring Titanfall 2 to PS.

EDIT: I guess it's not fake then. Bummer, sounds like Sony missed out on this one.

Sony probably didn't have the money anyway. xD

Sounds like total bullshit.

They probably don't have the money to fund any big-budget 3rd party games given their financial situation. I doubt specs would have leaked if they did cooperate.

From the way EA's positioning the game (and after canning Medal of Honor) I bet they are going to start milking the franchise. Titanfall will be on PS4 sooner or later.

Lesson learned: people suck at coming up with domain names

Titanfall was certainly a much needed exclusive title for the Xbox One and well earned from what you have said.

Sony may be more open to offers from other developers in the future as a result of this which is certainly for the better.

But given the success of Titanfall on Xbox One the team will have no problem securing resources for development on multiple platforms.

This is the Game of Thrones

Where you either win

or you DIE

Strange article indeed. Since Sony wasn't willing to talk about the new consoles (PS4), but were willing to help making a vita version?
That means Sony were accepting to help them to get the game for PS3 + PS vita, and for PS4 they would have needed to wait alittle longer since it was in ''political secret''.

Again, EA is behind it, it's not like Respawn is a indie dev who needs fundings, EA funds it !!!

EDIT: Ohh, this game makes no sense on the Vita, so I don't know what to think about that article anymore  --''

EA had to find funding?? Yeah, sure.

Kinda makes me question the authenticity of the whole article tbh.
