Oh, I've also put this thread in the correct place (moved from Gaming to Charts). I'm not really sure why this wasn't in Charts initially, but there you are I suppose.

toastboy is a chartz noob. he should have left the real work for the Pro's like me.

So it would seem. You weren't there at our time of need though, so how can we even trust you anymore I wonder?

Next time. There will always be a next time...

OT: I noticed that the 3DS is pretty close tto 100k. Could it fall below it this year, and if so, would it be the first time since the price cut way back when?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Xbone with titanfall now at £349 at asda (walmart).

Strangely other bundles aren't as cheap so possibly Titanfall demand hasn't been as great as expected over here and there is too much titanfall bundle stock about.

This makes the xbox one now cheaper than ps4. I think at best you'd get a ps4 at £330 without game if you can find stock at that price.

It's clear Microsoft is much more aggressive about marketing and is proactive with regards trying to claw back market share. I strongly suspect the xbox one will be available for chistmas sub £300 with game. We aren't far from it now to be honest.

I think ps4 will have its first price reduction for christmas, probably £299 over here assuming the stock problems are gone and they have ample stock to promote the console for christmas.

That will probably mean a £299 price for xbone with game is still unrealistic. It would need to be £249 with game in order to be competitive.

Xbox one is almost in a japanese xbox situation in mainland Europe. It's seen as a utter failure and that perception of failure means even less people want to buy it.

I went in a game  retailer yesterday, only an independant store. The only console setup for customers to try was the ps4. There were a few xbone games about but its clear walking into that store which console was being pushed and this is in the UK where the xbone situation is better. You wonder what is happening in stores across mainland Europe. Looking at those xbone figures, do most of them even stock xbox one's?

Surprised that PS4 and X1 only dropped 18k between them, wonder how low they will go in the next 6-7 weeks before Watch Dogs.

3DS is starting to suffer from software drought. The difference between this year and last is staggering

The 3DS better watch out, because the Vita is coming after it.............In Japan of course!

Xbox One is doing really well in America but not so much in Europe. Microsoft need to really increase their advertising over here. They should use football to advertise more, sponsor a tournament or something, Another FIFA deal could also give them a boost in Autumn.

I agree. Those blue banners and football ads are great for PlayStation.

Conversely, isn't the PS4 lagging behind in terms of being associated with sports in the US?

Sony are sponsors of the champions league which gets the biggest sports viewing in Europe, but MS could still advertise in national leagues, Remember when Sega was the Shirt Sponsor for Arsenal :)

The Wii U is serious trouble now. No two ways about it.

'Now'?

It´s been in trouble for quite some time and the last hope lies with Mario Kart.

It was in trouble before, now its "serious"

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
