Yes but you will have to do a "Full System Transfer" which you can find out how to do in their site

Its a cool experience too which you might be like what... But seriously, when you do a system transfer from wii to wiiU, you will see what I mean! They really went tryhard mode on this one

there is a transfer tool u can use to maove all of your saves and virtual titles form your wii to the wiiu but it removes them form the wii permanently. the transfer only requires an sd card and internet

1. Wiimotes and Wii games will work on the Wii U. So will the balance board so sell your Wii.

2. I bought the Mario/ Luigi bundle for $299, then got a Nyko pro commander controller for $14 on amazon (awesome piece of kit)

3. The Wii U is awesome. If you want a local multiplayer experience try black ops 2 with dual monitor (one on tv one on gamepad) and/or Rayman Legends Both are really fun multiplayer local with the wife. Try the wonderful 101 as well.

4. The best buy employee and people like him are the reason that the Wii U doesn't sell. Also, don't listen to people saing there is no games. I'm waiting to get super mario 3D world when I have the dosh and awaiting the release of Abe New N Tasty and Bayonetta 2.

Have to say Mario 3d World, Wind Waker HD, Wonderful 101, and Lego City Undercover are all excellent games and I would highly recommend them to anyone just buying a Wii U. The Mario Luigi Bundle really is the best deal right now to confirm the above stated.

damn thanks for that link i just bought mine now knowing eveyrthing yall have told me,  thanks everyone wife was happy to see i can get the 2 games free and a 50$ giftcard which she then is going to use to buy the Donkey Kong game(she loves the Kong)

I doubt the buy 2 get 1 free deal is gonna last until Mario Kart 8 though. =/
