The german tech-news-site Heise reports that Microsoft plans to create games for the Zune: http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/103839 What is the impact? Will the Zune become a competition for DS and PSP? Discuss!
This was in MS's Keynote @ GDC, they are going to make games that transfer form 360 to Zune to PC, IIRC.
Wouldn't be suprised if MS used the Zune as a new avenue to open up games from the XBLA and XNA. Could be really neat.

Oddly enough, since the platform is newer, and Microsoft has more experience with gaming, it might work better on the Zune, as long as it doesn't play like cell phone gaming.
Plus this is no surprise to me. There have been rumors of Microsoft getting into handheld gaming, and the Zune is pretty much their attempt to answer the iPod, which has gotten into gaming. So this seems like the logical step.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
