Forums - Sony - Greatness Awaits for me too

I'd say the reason that PS3 continues to get more support is because Japanese devs tend to be slower to move to the new consoles (hence the reason why PSP was viable for a long time after Vita's release)...

Either way, I don't really feel like that matters too much. Its all about the games a console does get, not the ones it doesn't get.

I definitely think KH is a franchise that some people don't get, but others really do. FFX is probably my favourite game ever, which makes this year's PS3 exclusives even better (though I'm playing it mostly on Vita) {and don't maybe forget Persona 5}

360's exclusive numbers have been much much much lower in the past few years, the only game I really bought is Gears Judgement. I was kind of forced into buying some Halo games, but I'm not counting them. I bought about 1 or 2 exclusives in the last few years that really excited me. Considering I have 130+ PS3 games and 45ish 360 games, that is not a big enough number for me.

It's hard to suggest that having more choice of games to play is a bad thing, but I feel that with so many multiplatform games between PS4 and XB1, there is little reason to own both, since you probably won't have time to play them all

Well, I'm poor, so there's that.

I've always wanted to be a multiplatform owner, though, I tend to defend 360's because it gets (in most cases) so much undeserved hate. Maybe people should direct themselves to the company behind it than the console itself :P

The Fable series was generally fairly average once you got over whatever nonsense Pete was spouting. I thought II was decent and III as very meh

Kingdom Hearts on the other hand is the single most unique franchise ever. It is just complete nonsense yet utterly amazing. I have got my platinum from KH Final Mix and am already looking forward to II.5

The idea that the exclusives on the 360 dried up is not an original one, it is well know. Many like myself bought a 360 because of the early waves of exclusives, for me it was Ace Combat, Mass Effect, Gears of War and Lost Odyssey. But only one of those has an announced Xbox One exclusive. I personally did feel somewhat betrayed in terms of their focus on kinect games (yes they did continue to make Halo, but I don't care) and it's why I have no plans to get an Xbox One to go with my PS4. 3DS is the most likely addition to my console collection

The Fable series are generally great. They are not revolutionary, nor mindblowing nor groundbreaking, but they are charming and enjoyable. That's my personal take on them, though. Fable 3 was meh, that I agree.

..

the first fable was amazeballz in it's time.   maybe not quite revolutionary but certainly one of the best gen 6 (6 right?) games to me.   i was soo angry when i got through fable 2 at how badly they nerfed the combat.   they went from fable 1's pretty deep set of talents with wonderly varied combat as you changed up which 3 spells you wanted to play with to stupid fucking 1 button combat.

I don't think that Xbox One will lose first party support this gen. Microsoft had only few studios so that they had to stop working on 360 games to make XBO games (and the wrong people were there to make decisions) but they invested a lot in new studios or bigger studios the last years which should be enough to support a console properly even after some years, not to forget that they finally  have someone as head  of Xbox who really understands how important exclusive games are.

They don't have a handheld so that the studios they have now should be fine as long as they will release good games and not only many games.

And gratz to your PS4, I hope in some years you will own all consoles which is obviously the best way to go.

But...you haven't told us what is that "wrong" thing you feel.

I felt something wrong the first time I had sex with a dog, but after thinking deep about it, I found out there was nothing wrong. Maybe you ought yourself to take things smoothly and meditate.

Was it ConeyG's dog?

It was, hence his face when he got promoted to mod.

You know.. its uncanny. I'm starting to feel like something's wrong too.. I can't put my finger on why though.

Well that's good for you but there is no guarantee that Sony will support it's console with first party exclusives until the end of the PS4 cycle. They did it with the PS3 but it was an exception.

The PS3 had lame support on it's first years and it got better as time went by because the PS3 needed it, because it was struggling. The PS4 is on beast mode so there is no need to apply the same strategy they used on the PS3 with the PS4.

In any case it is a win-win situation (unless you sell your Xbox One) because you will be able to experience both consoles in the end.

Yeah, that's the reason you have to chose one. But for many that's not a problem

I only had a PS2, but then went for PS3 and 360 and just felt let down by my 360. There were loads of great games, but I just felt personally that M$ lost interest in me
