I think both of these titles will help, but neither will "save" the Wii U. What the Wii U really needs is something exciting and original that shows off the Gamepad. To really invigorate people, you have to do something new and different.

I'm setting myself up so that if Mario Kart doesn't take it all the way home, I won't be disappointed, but if it does, then I still won't be disappointed.
