What a fall from grace. This guy used to make great games. But the last few years at microsoft he just lost either talent or creativity. Its a good thing he left or he would of been out the door anyway. Tv is coming in the uk this year. But im sure he knows this. All his latest comments about the industry and now microsoft is the only way he remains relevant. Such a shame.

I don't think much of kinect and think it's not particularly useful in terms of cost/features....

This interview is out of date. I liked Kinect from launch and valued what it offered. I see the need for it to be a pack in so that developers can produce games or apps knowing that it everyone with an Xbox One can take advantage of what they are offering.

In the UK we DO now have the TV controls via Kinect and it is awesome.

I say 'Xbox On' and it turns on my plasma, AV receiver, satellite box and Xbox. I tell it to call up the One Guide and I can ask it to check what is on any channel, look for films on Amazon Lovefilm, Netflix, or Microsoft's film and video app. I do not need a remote to do any of that. It's quicker, more accurate, and a hell of a lot easier.

I think the Xbox one is brilliant, even without the kinect, kinectless bundle is a no brainier in my eyes, so far the kinect has failed to deliver in gaming so make it optional for the people who want it.
