By delayed, I mean it was put behind the 3DS version, and the 3DS version was given an exclusive MP mode to boot. It should have been the other way around. For this game, Wii-U should have been first priority. Nintendo should be using all the time until release to hype up the Wii-U version. The fact that the 3DS version is out so much longer before is going to undoubtedly cripple the Wii-U, even with MK8.

I believe they will. I'm highly sceptical of games having massive impacts for more than a few weeks. Just look at Titanfall. It's not the game's fault, it's just not his job to sell something people clearly don't want.

I believe that they shouldn't have release it on 3DS. But I admit that SSB isn't a good game for a portable. Its single player mode was always lacking and it's appeal is on local multiplayer.
