I think that the Wii U has more 2D platforming fans than PS4 and X1 combined.

It has a comfortably bigger install base than X1 right now and isn't far behind PS4. Seems like a strange thing to even bring up at this point

I never finished the original, so I'm willing to pay up to ~£25 for it on the Wii U.

And because there's not as many games available I'm being much more adventurous with my purchases than I was last gen. For indies, Wii U is a smart choice IMO.

Day one purchase for me and a bunch of people I know on Wii U.
