Agreed, announcement for 2016 and release 2017 would be great!

And YES! 3D is worthless IMO, could be better used resources for battery life. And never thought about joysticks... I'd like it!

See I'm more of the opposite. I like the handhelds more, but I understand your reasoning being more a fan of the home consoles.

Higher quality parts/better overall design, I haven't owned my 3DS for two years and both shoulder buttons are malfunctioning. Plus there's that issue with the bottom screen border scratching the top screen, horrible design mistake. I expect my Nintendo handhelds to last 20 years or longer if I take care of them.

1- Dual screens
2- Full backwards compatibility with 3DS
3- Gameboy advance/DS/SNES/64/Gamecube virtual console
4- 2 analog sticks
5- Good L & R buttoms.
6- 720p screen (I love the screen of my Ascend P6). 540 to 720 should be ok.
7- Good sound! Playing with an XL without headphones is impossible.
8- New Fzero or star fox game at launch! Or both!!

A fusion. A combination between home consoles and handhelds. The NINTENDO FUSION, for only 300 bucks, 1000 times more powerful than PS4, with inexhaustible battery, super account system, Ultra HD screen, Pokémon MMO and teleportation functionality.

I can dream.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

1- Account system
2- Backwards compatible
3- Competent virtual console
4- Good D-Pad
5- Better thought out pricing strategy
6- Better battery life (Not seeing this much)

Somewhere around 2017-18 maybe.

Something new and interesting would be nice. They really tried and succeeded with unorthodox games on DS. I mean sure we are going to get Mario, Zelda & Pokeythings but it was interesting back in days to pick up Brain Age 2, Crimson Red, DS Lite bunduru.

And yes agreed. Although, I'd get a Nintendo handheld at launch if it launched with next to nothing.
