My PS3 never broke. My 360 broke, two of my PSPs didn't break but they wouldn't read UMDs, my DS still worked but it technically broke when my cat knocked it off the shelfand broke the hinges so that only wiring held the top and bottom parts together.

Was it a DS Lite?  Those had some pretty fragile hinges.

Idk what force broke the hinges on my DS Phat when I left it at my parents house.

Still works tho.

Got my Wii near launch, it broke literally less than a week after the warranty ran out. I got it repaired and it's worked fine since. So I still have my launch Wii, but it has had issues. The disc drive stopped working. I put a somewhat scratched Gamecube disk in it while it was vertical, and it flipped out. Nintendo fixed it though without having to replace the console. I've since used my Wii for Wii games and had no problem, and my Gamecube for Gamecube games, and it still works. My SNES and N64 still work as well. And my Gameboy, and my launch GBA, and my GBA SP, and my launch DS, and my launch 3DS. My PS2 fat only reads certain disks and memory cards for some reason, so I had to get a new slim model, and that one works fine.

Nope.  Phat DS.  It was knocked off from fairly high to a hard floor.

Wii and DS are still perfect. Only other 7th gen system I got near launch was 360, and I got rrod like 5 times. Microsoft just kept replacing them though.

Red ring of death twice once was in first year
then again probably a year or two later.

My ps3 60GB ps2 compatible model was bought just as the non ps2 compatible model was introduced. That's still working fine. I bought a jap wii which I converted to a US wii and also bought a third party wii psu. That psu died and needed replacing after a year or so. Had about 4-5 360 replacements but more for optical drive issues than RROD. They just stopped reading discs. At least one of the replacements Microsoft sent was DOA. I have a 40GB PS3 that I replaced the laser on and that laser replacement only lasted 18 months and needs replacing again.

Not me, I never buy consoles at launch! If it's all the same though, both the Wii and PS3 were bought within 6 months after launch which is unprecedented for me, and they're both working perfectly fine still!

I got a PS3 launch year, and a Wii in April 2007. The PS3 broke around 6 years ago and the Wii isn't broken, but it won't read Wii games properly, so I can only use it for GameCube games.

My Wii never broke but I sent it in to get it's OS re-installed because there was a couple black dots on the home menu.

My phat PS3 lasted from the day MGS4 lauched until the day MGS Rising launched. Crazy. I was installing the data and that was all she wrote. Got a Super Slim on Black Friday and I'm finally playing it.

360 #1 lasted from early '07 until Mass Effect. Got it fixed and traded it for 360#2 (Jasper). Still works. 360 #3 still works (though it got a disc drive problem when ME2 came out--again, crazy. M$ fixed it, though). It's a slim 250GB that came bundled with Kinect.

Got a Wii in early 2007. Still works.
