I heard Titanfall runs at about 30fps when running at 4k on a Titan.

Considering this is about twice the power... I guess this is the start of 60fps gaming at 4k for newer games, even if Titanfall is one of the lower end ones?

It's already a dual card (look closely at it, resembles the 690). Won't need more than one (12GB of GDDR5 and 8TFLOPS). For my needs, it's perfect.

Well, just for gaming I wouldn't buy that since graphics aren't that important to me and don't really change the fun I have with a game (but I obviously love to look at nice graphics) but if you need a good GPU to make money with whatever you do it seems not too bad. Reducing the worktime of you PC or increasing the comfort is obviously important if you do it to make money.
