Granted, this is not a 100% completion playthrough, but does highlight why so many people, rightly in my opinion, think this is nothing but a ridiculously overpriced demo.

If it's a demo, wait for the main game. You can play it there.

It's amazing how they make those demos last 5 hours with all tasks completed.

Also, lol at everyone suddendly talking about speed runs for this game. As if it took everyone 10 minutes to beat Super Mario Bros 3 or an hour to beat demon's souls.

Demo's have traditionally been free, not $30, that is why there is an issue.

As for speed runs of other games, these were done after years of practice by very dedicated people, not but a journalist on the same day the game is released.

Again, demos are free and part of the main game. Calling Ground Zeroes a demo means it will be part of the main game. The term demo makes no sense. Some games are simply short. Is it overpriced for its length? Sure. Is it a demo? Nope.

As for the speedruns, it doesn't matter if they are done years later. Some people are trying to prove a point, hence why they made the speed run videos. This has nothing to do with the actual game that the average gamer will play. The average gamer will not do a speed run the first time he plays the game.

looks terrible. the usual A.S. (artificial stupidity) that makes stealth easy, magical infinite slow motion, running normally while carrying someone... there's just so many wrong things in this game.

Good god that was terrible, I wouldn't even pay $5 for this

Like the Bravery Default demo that is new content not found in the game and takes over 5 hours to beat and is totally free? Yeah...

Also, while this is a speedrun, the average gamer also doesn't 100% games. In fact, according to HowLongtoBeat, the average completion time for the main story is 1.5 hours, or 2.5 hours for main story plus extras...that is pretty darn pitiful

I agree that buying this could establish a precedent. What if game developers start looking at this like a DVD/BluRay purchase. Movies are typically 1-2 hours and people will pay $20-$30 for it.

In that perspective, they could be trying to change a consumers perspective on price/time ratio. After all, compared to the above example, a 5 hour game at $30 would be a bargain.

Okay, now I get it, the Zeroes in the game's name stands for zero boss fights.
