Demo's have traditionally been free, not $30, that is why there is an issue. As for speed runs of other games, these were done after years of practice by very dedicated people, not but a journalist on the same day the game is released. |
Again, demos are free and part of the main game. Calling Ground Zeroes a demo means it will be part of the main game. The term demo makes no sense. Some games are simply short. Is it overpriced for its length? Sure. Is it a demo? Nope.
As for the speedruns, it doesn't matter if they are done years later. Some people are trying to prove a point, hence why they made the speed run videos. This has nothing to do with the actual game that the average gamer will play. The average gamer will not do a speed run the first time he plays the game.
